Snow Dragon Latte

This gut-friendly Snow Dragon latte is one of my favourite beverages. Peppermint and green tea are perfect for aiding digestion, lowering inflammation and providing a little mental pick-me-up.

Peppermint is one of my favourite herbs! 

It helps aid digestion and contributes to a healthy gut, which helps with less bloating, better energy, and clear skin. It’s even proven to be as effective as over-the-counter pain meds — goodbye headaches and sore muscles! 

 

Green Tea 

Green tea is both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory rich, which can help lower overall body inflammation and inflammation in the digestive tract. Gut inflammation can contribute to symptoms like bloating, digestive disturbance, acne and other inflammatory skin conditions, and contribute to brain fog.

Green tea’s unique form of caffeine acts as a mental stimulant rather than a physical one (like that found in the caffeine profile of other beverages like coffee). So if your looking for a brian boost rather than the jitters, green tea is your new bff!

Snow Dragon Peppermint Green Tea Late

This gut-friendly Snow Dragon latte is one of my favourite beverages. Peppermint and green tea are perfect for aiding digestion, lowering inflammation and providing a little mental pick-me-up.

Servings 1 latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp Peppermint leaves (or 1 tea bag) strongly brewed and concentrated
  • 1 tsp green tea leaves (or 1 tea bag) strongly brewed and concentrated
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup Steamed milk of choice

Instructions
 

  • Combine the peppermint and green tea leaves in a teapot or mug and pour over 1 cup of hot water. Let the tea brew for 10 to 15 minutes so that it's very strong.
  • Steam or froth your milk of choice.
  • Pour 1/2 cup of the concentrated tea into your mug and add the vanilla and honey. Stir well. Save the second half in the fridge for later.
  • Add the warm steamed milk, stir + enjoy!
