FAQ

When does the program start?

We kick off May 21, 2025 with our first group coaching call + wrap up our 8-week journey at the end of June— just in time for a summer of feeling your best!

Group sessions will be held Wednesday’s, the exact time of each weekly coaching call will be decided once enrolment closes so that we land on a time that works for everyone in the group. 

Private 1:1 kick off sessions will start this same week. 

How long are the group calls?

Group calls are 1.5 – 2 hours long, depending on the module and our group of participants (over-sharing is encouraged in this program!).

What is truly required of me to get results?
  1. An open mind.
  2. The ability to turn inward and reflect.
  3. The desire to tap into your body’s needs and welcome what it’s telling you.
  4. The inner motivation to take action when a concept, idea or tool you’ve learned feels aligned with your lifestyle + values.
Can coffee and wine still be a part of my life?

Yes! You’ll learn how and when it’s best to consume these beverages for optimal digestion and hormone balance — which is so so important for women!

Are there exceptions to this rule? Of course. If you have pre-existing medical condition or we find a reason that certain foods are a danger to your health then we will look at how to minimize them where needed. 

Will I have to change my entire diet?

No. Will there be certain foods I recommend you don’t consume regularly? Yes, but this is NOT a restrictive or tightly structured diet program.

This program is designed to FIT into YOUR LIFESTYLE and will teach you the tools needed to build healthy life-long habits that support your gut health and overall well-being for the REST OF YOUR LIFE! So please, feel free to eat that occasional cupcake, enjoy chocolate — because life is worth LIVING!

How does gut health impact brain fog, anxiety + mood?

The gut is often called your second brain, and for good reason! Gut health and cognitive function are intricately connected through the gut-brain axis — a communication loop between the GI tract and your brain. Your gut’s bacteria (microbiome) play a crucial role in this connection.

If your microbiome is out of balance it can lead to many different issues that affect your brain, thus leading to symptoms like brain fog, anxiety and mood issues.

  • Your gut is where 80% of your body’s serotonin (feel-good hormone) is made and 50% of your dopamine (pleasure hormone) is made, and unbalanced microbiome can affect the production of these hormones, potentially leading to mood disturbances and cognitive symptoms like brain fog, anxiety and low mood.
  • Inflammation in the gut or leaky gut can cause an immune response that releases inflammatory molecules that can cross the blood-brain barrier and affect brain function.
  • Dysbiosis of your microbiome can lead to nutrient deficiencies that leave the brain lacking in essential vitamins and minerals.
  • Your gut microbiome is strongly influenced by stress! Dysbiosis often occurs with chronic stress which in turn can make symptoms like brain fog and other mind-body issues worse.
How many 1:1 session are included?

You get one 1-hour session and one 30-minute follow up session built into the program.

Can I add more 1:1 sessions?

Yes! All Gut Harmony participants have the option to add 1:1 sessions and have access to additional 1:1 personalized session packages at an exclusive discount.

  • 🚫 Restricting foods might seem “healthy,” but it’s often doing more harm than good — especially for your gut! 

🌿 Here’s why restriction isn’t the answer:

1️⃣ Less diversity = less microbiome health. Your gut thrives on variety! The more types of foods you eat, the stronger your microbiome becomes. 🦠

2️⃣ Food fear creates stress. Constantly worrying about what you can/can’t eat can trigger stress, which directly impacts digestion. 😟

3️⃣ It’s human nature to rebel. When we restrict, we tend to crave—and overeat—the things we label as “off-limits.” 🍪

🙋‍♀️ But what about allergies?
Of course, avoid foods you’re allergic to (safety first!). But for most people, the key to gut health isn’t taking away—it’s ADDING variety to nourish your body and gut. 🌿 

🌟 Try this instead:
Focus on adding whole grains, fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, and fermented foods. Your microbiome will thrive, and so will YOU! 🌱

🙅 So ditch the restrictive diets and start healing instead of avoiding!

In today’s world, so much of what’s on the grocery store shelves is highly processed, stripped of nutrients, and packed with additives. It might look like food, but it’s far from nourishing.
