Healthy Peppermint Mocha
This coffee shop favourite gets a healthy home makeover featuring antioxidant-rich cocoa and calm-cooling peppermint.
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 -2 shots espresso regular or decaf
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup steamed milk I used Earth's Own Naked Oat Milk
- whipped coconut cream optional
- crushed candy cane optional
Scoop 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder into your mug.
Pour over espresso and whisk until creamy.
Add 1/4 tsp of peppermint extract and stir.
Pour over steamed milk.
Optional: Add whipped coconut cream and a sprinkle of crushed candy cane.
